  16. They did, and Unisoft was given a Falcon.  Then Atari canned the whole project
  17. for purely political reasons (sheer incompetence, if you ask me).

  19. Unisoft did the job, and was paid for it, and gave the finished thing to Atari.
  20. When Atari didn't release ASV to the general public, Unisoft was so unhappy
  21. that they even thought about distributing ASV on their own.  I can guess why
  22. they didn't do it after all :-(

  27. I would say: take BSD4.4 "lite", it is supposed to have a lot of Motorola 
  28. support already, take missing things from 386bsd when possible, and write the
  29. HW-specific things.  I would love to do that, but it would take me ages.  And,
  30. I'm not sure if I should get a TT just for this.
