- If you want Unix, you should not think of Atari as a hardware basis.
- Atari Sys V will not be available for the F030, is - as far as I know -
- still a developer's release for the TT which is horribly overpriced in
- comparison with other proprietary Unix implementations.
- Atari dropped further development in ASV, because they finally figured
- out that "Unix is no market for Atari". ASV is said to be very stable, but
- has an extremly low performance (especially when moving the mouse ;-) !
- If they don't improve their device drivers and make a reasonable price,
- then ASV is IMHO not at all interesting even for the expected F040.

- If you want Unix, better get a 386/486 with Linux or BSD386, or simply
- buy a NeXT or Sun Sparc Workstation. There are quite cheap 2nd hand
- or clone computers.
