- The resolution that appears after boottime depends on 2 things:
- - The adaptor that is plugged in the FALCONS's monitor-port
- - The resolutions you have choosen in the desktop.
- All important resolutions can be displayed on all types of monitors (but
- sometimes only interlaced). So it does not matter which monitor is connected
- (14inch or 21inch for example, RBG or VGA and so on...)

-
- The size of the monitor does never influence the amount of colours you can
- use. In TrueColor you have 32768 colors from 32768 colors, in other modes
- you can use 256 colors from 262144 colors. The FALCON has an internal
- slot for different kinds of extensions.

-
- As far as I know the same amount of colours, but more pixel and/or higher
- refresh-rates (70Hz and more). (I'm talking about the OverScan-Card)

- For TV/Video-applications 640x400 plus Overscan is exactly the right
- resolution. Resolutions of 1280x1280 are only sensible on 21ich
- monitors ($3000 and above :-)) I know some PC-freaks using 1100x800
- on 15inch monitors. Normally the fonts they use are also only 16x16 pixels,
- so they look like 8x8 on a normal resolution. I think that's crazy, but
- they love it...
