  25. The resolution that appears after boottime depends on 2 things:
  26. - The adaptor that is plugged in the FALCONS's monitor-port
  27. - The resolutions you have choosen in the desktop.
  28. All important resolutions can be displayed on all types of monitors (but
  29. sometimes only interlaced). So it does not matter which monitor is connected
  30. (14inch or 21inch for example, RBG or VGA and so on...)

  37. The size of the monitor does never influence the amount of colours you can
  38. use. In TrueColor you have 32768 colors from 32768 colors, in other modes
  39. you can use 256 colors from 262144 colors. The FALCON has an internal
  40. slot for different kinds of extensions.

  45. As far as I know the same amount of colours, but more pixel and/or higher
  46. refresh-rates (70Hz and more). (I'm talking about the OverScan-Card)

  52. For TV/Video-applications 640x400 plus Overscan is exactly the right
  53. resolution. Resolutions of 1280x1280 are only sensible on 21ich
  54. monitors ($3000 and above :-)) I know some PC-freaks using 1100x800
  55. on 15inch monitors. Normally the fonts they use are also only 16x16 pixels,
  56. so they look like 8x8 on a normal resolution. I think that's crazy, but
  57. they love it...
