  27. the patch I use is called serfix11.  it fixes the CTS/RTS handshaking bugs 
  28. found in most tos's.  if you don't use it, a couple of things can happen. 
  29. as mentioned above, the data from the ST can out run the modem speed or the 
  30. handshaking lines will get stuck in the "wrong" state.   feel free to send
