Fast-GIF is, (as it says), very fast, and does a pretty good job of
converting any GIF picture into 320*200*16!  (And saving it in
Degas PI1 format if you want.)  It doesn't handle JPEG, or this 89a
format. (The new one), but it works fine with 90% of GIF's!
(1meg at least recommended, as with all GIF programs, those things can
use a lot of RAM!)

Fast-GIF is on atari.archive.umich.edu in the graphics section somewhere
(or was).... it should be available locally as well. (just about anywhere)
