  13. Well as it happens I have bought the Xtra Ram deluxe ram upgrade too.
  14. But I have had some problems with it. THe first problem was that the
  15. MMU adaptor wouldn't fit. Well finally it would fit, but at that time I
  16. had already damaged the MMU-socket. Well I went back to the shop where
  17. I had bought my Xtra Ram deluxe (Data Skip in Tilburg, the Netherlands)
  18. and they repaired the socket completely free of charge (actually they
  19. just put in a new socket). But the upgrade still wouldn;t work. The
  20. problem was in my ST that refused 0.5 meg in bank 1 and 2 meg in bank 2
  21. (or 0 and 1 if you like that better) with 2 banks of 2 meg or the other
  22. way around it would work, but it took a lot of time to find that out.
  23. So just so you know when installing. The problem really was that
  24. the disabling of one of the banks did not work very well. Sometimes the
  25. ST still seemed to see the old 512 Kbytes. I have no clue why this is
  26. but everything works GREAT now.
  27. SO I recommend Xtra Ram Deluxe too!
