- ]I bought UltraScript in the hpe that all my PostScript needs will be
- ]satisfied. It works most of the time but occasionally it just crashes
- ]on bits of postscipt like " ... variable 1 sub ..." or it complaims
- ]that the current point is not set. Before I print with UltraScript
- ]I try it out on 'pageview' on a Sun and fix all the postscipt errors
- ]there. Hence, it cannot be an error in my postscipt code.
-
- I don't know what the specific error means, but one sure fire way to confuse
- UltraScript is to try and send a soft Adobe Type 1 font to it. UltraScript
- only supports its own disc fonts and PostScript type 3 fonts (ones sent by
- PageStream for non LaserWriter fonts). If you are... stop! Send only fonts
- you have on the HD or PageStream fonts... If this is not the case, I have no
- idea what it can be. I have had no problems beside this one.
-
- I want to get GhostScript, but I have to arrange to get e-mail downloaded here.
- Oh well...
-
- Or... if you have deep pockets, get CompoScript. I heard it's better.
