  13. I haven't used it with GIFs that were less than 320x200, so I was unaware of
  14. this problem.  As for the quality of pictures on my humble STE, it is
  15. excellent.

  19. If the GIF's are below 320*200, just use the 'select area' option in
  20. Pchrome, it will keep it's original resolution, but the colors will improve.

  22. (In past experience, it's a bad idea to stretch GIF's to larger than original
  23. size on the ST, it makes them look odd).

  25. Saw this *incredible* Black&White GIF viewer for the mac', amazing, you could
  26. have a 320*200 GIF, expand it to around 500*400 or some such thing, and lose
  27. no noticable quality AT ALL!  You could also shrink it, save it, and reload
  28. it, then stretch it again, and the quality would be almost identical.
  29. I think it was M-GIF or something (not the ST version of course), but I 
  30. can't remember.  Amazing program!  (It would of course convert color GIF's
  31. into grey-shades)
