- POKEY I believe handles most of the SIO stuff, so I would suggest start
- looking there. you could probably even swap your 65XE POKEY with the
- Atari 800 one, assuming you want to roll up your sleeves and dig into your
- 800. Another option would be to purchase a Transkey interface for your
- 65XE. This allows you to connect IBM type keyboards to your Atari 8 bit.
- Then, it would simply be a matter of finding a keyboard that felt right
- for you, making sure it works with the Transkey, and off you go!
