- Hello! I noticed that your message was postmarked from Jerusalem and I was
- wondering if I could ask you a question? I am reading COMP.SYS.ATARI.8BIT
- on a UNIX system that uses a "CAL" calendar program to print out a solar
- calendar. Are there any calendar programs out there that print out a
- --LUNAR-- calendar that follows the, what is it, nineteen year lunar cycle?
- I have seen programs in the USA for the ATARI 8-BIT and other computers
- that will print out the solar calendar, yet I have never seen a computer
- program that does a lunar calendar. I wonder why I haven't seen such
- programs? I am sure that the large Jewish, Chinese, and Asian ethnic
- populations around Boston Massachusetts, would find a lunar calendar
- program useful. Such a program would be very useful for keeping track
- of the many religious observances that follow the lunar calendar cycle.
- I am curious... are there any programs for the ATARI 6502 8-BIT that can
- generate a lunar calendar?
