- When vendors can hand out new keys via the phone, the protected program has
- to check whether the key and the serial number match following a certain
- algorithm. And this is the problem. Nowadays crackers remove
- type-in-word-xxx-of-page-yyy protections. If your scheme would be implemented,
- they would remove type-in-your-personal-key protections. There's no
- difference besides that C= can say "We tried it but it failed" :)
