- No way. The way DOS packets work, Parnet hands the packet to the
- file system and waits for a reply. There is nothing asynchronous
- about it. Faster drives just reply faster, that's all.

- I don't know what's happening here, but the OS version could have
- something to do with it. 2.1 obviously wasn't available when I
- shipped the initial parnet (actually 2.0 wasn't either) so
- anything could be happening... but I would be surprised if that
- were so, since all the old packets worked the same way as in 1.3.
