- Hardware banging generates bad code in 99% of the cases because:

- hardware bangers do not want to be "limited" by "rules". As a software engineer
- you know the importance to "rules".
- hardware bangers don't buy other manuals than the hardware manual because
- that would a) cost money and b) isn't needed as the hardware manual "tells
- all".
- harware bangers are the worst addicts of the NIH syndrome.

- True. But publishing specs is a tradeoff. C= decided (and I agree) that
- hiding specs gets more positive results.

- I don't think so. Demos might be a problem as 'coders' are of a special
- mind set. But doing action games for AA is no problem.
