- FYI...I get the same sort of results using SupraFormat (Series II, v 1.10) and
- an OMTI (5200? 5100?) MFM<-->SCSI board with an older MiniScribe 40Mb disc.
- I'd been thinking of getting an Adaptec replacement for the OMTI to see if
- that is the problem...

- Maybe I'll try a later responder's suggestion of low level formatting the disc
- on a Sun at work? Or maybe send the SCSI low level format command to it via a
- SCSIdirect command? Hmmm...have to think about that one, after I get my other
- [primary] disc working again...
