- Mea culpa - the valley business news posting is as I posted, but
- apparently Anjon has not completely folded. My sincerest apologies
- for posting without full information, but this was in response to
- some questions I was getting from two folks I had directed to Anjon.
- Their difficulties came just prior to the notice printed in the paper.
- I hope Anjon is indeed doing better than the LA Times notice indicates.
-
- As for jon's business sense, well, I did say specifically that he has a
- great hustle down, and I meant hustle in terms of his going all over the
- place to push Playmation. However, there have been several unfulfilled
- promises from Jon towards myself and a few other early AJ buyers, as
- well as difficulties in getting the Playmation upgrade and or accurate
- information. I will not dispute that Jon is an extremely hard worker;
- however, when it comes to product support, Anjon can be extremely trying
- at times. I had, for example, called the 818 number numerous times
- previously, and this posting is the ONLY way I have ever gotten a call
- back from Jon (although I have not been at home to take the call).
- I have nothing against Jon whatsoever; he SEEMS, however, to have bitten
- off quite a bit.

- LA Times Valley Business News, Tuesday Dec. 22, page 13 (valley edition)
- Bankruptcy filings: Desveaux, Jonathon Blair & Sondra Louise
- dba Anjon & Associates 20211 Sherman Way no. 156 Canoga Park
- Chapter 7; assets $9,655; debts, $16,585; document 92-55838; file date
- 11/30/92.
- (NB - Chapter 7 is usually a liquidation where assets are sold off to
- pay creditors and the business is closed, according to LA Times)
-
- I think you can see that I at least did not create the situation out
- of whole cloth. nevertheless, in my haste, I did NOT check the facts
- properly, and I do most sincerely apologize. I still don't know what
- the situation is, but it seems both less drastic than I had painted it
- and less rosy than you do.
