- Since we're picking nits, how can you say Wing Commander and realistic in the
- same sentence? WC is a shoot-em-up flight "simulator" turned space game. There
- is nothing even remotely realistic about it. What the hell are those after-
- burners doing in a SPACESHIP, for finagles sake? Even more, the readouts claim
- that these ships are ion drive. Ion drive is a low thrust, high velocity thing,
- giving you high end velocity/drive fuel weight ratio, but that takes BIG
- reactors, and even then, acceleration in centimeters per second squared, not
- those 4 G figures WC ships seem to have...
- Now that I've said it, I'd like to add that a realistic space game wouldn't be
- too interesting... Not much maneuvering, and weapons controlled by computers..
