- Yeah, I know it's old but I just picked it out of the bargain bin the
- other day.
-
- Anyway, I'm stuck in the first world (Midgard). I've thoroughly gone
- through every island (a few times each in fact), I've got 5 of the 6
- scrolls with a rune on it, I've got two runestones, and my characters
- are up to level 6 but there is a scroll which my character can't read
- even though he's at 99 runelore. I can't figure out what's left to do
- in this world.
-
- There are only two things that I have'nt figured out completely. The
- first is on the large island in the south-east corner of the map. There's
- that central room in which you have to press the floor stones in the
- correct sequence for the door to open. I got into the room, there's a
- wizard and a circular diagram on the floor. I killed the wizard, but was
- unable to open the door on the opposite side of the room. Does that
- door go anywhere or is it just another entrance from the opposite
- hallway that requires a different floor stone sequence to open?
-
- The second thing I'm unsure of is the two glowing portals on the large
- north-west island. The scroll says "Choose your class, Choose your
- path", but I can't get anything to happen. What are you supposed to
- do with these portals?
-
- So, those are the only two mysteries to me in this first world. I
- must be missing something because I have'nt been advanced to the
- second world yet. Any ideas as to what I should do?
-
- Oh, there's also this one scroll which I don't understand. "To the left
- a star, to the right a stone, to the center you must tender, from the
- center a loan". Does this apply to the portals somehow?
