  20. Great to see that I'm not the only football fan here.  I'm doing
  21. the same but I'm playing as the 49ers and I'm in week 15.  The 
  22. Niners are 12-3 with losses to the Rams, Vikes and I don't
  23. remember who.  Anyway, I have trouble with the run and shoot
  24. as well and almost keep the 3-4 on the field all game long.
  25. I've gotten some plays to fall back on and should probably writing
  26. them down and diagraming them.  Here's an easy one:

  29. Short Pass
  30. Motion
  31. FL slant
  32. SE slant
  33. HB flat *

  35. Here is your basic clear out play to the HB going into the left flat.
  36. Usually a good conservative call which gains 4-5 yards, or really
  37. big if the defense is blitzing.  I wish the defense were so flexible.

  39. I had a chance to play a friend over the modem this weekend which
  40. took about 2 hours to complete.  Eagles vs 49ers and ended up with
  41. the Niners winning 23-20.  Randall had a good day but the blitzing
  42. Eagles defense also gave up some big plays.  The Niners were hot 
  43. and cold on offense but held on with their defense in the fourth 
  44. quarter with a blindside tackle of Randall in a late drive.  The
  45. program seems to have a lot of animation possibilities as the
  46. sack was the first blindside one I've seen.  Sure was exciting
  47. and fun to go into chat mode to gloat during the game.   One
  48. odd thing was that you'd see your opponent's play call one
  49. play after the current one.  Good thing is that you get the
  50. feel of your opponent's tendencies and try to guess his next
  51. call.

  53. All in all a great program that needs a few things to make it
  54. almost perfect.  Can't wait to see their team editor and hopefully
  55. a play editor would be nice.
