  18. I took me a fair while to finish all 6 too, but I stll enjoy flying the FA/18
  19. regularly -- you can still be suprised...

  21. I was doing the intercept stolen aircraft mission -- you know, the one where
  22. the briefing says to avoid killing the F-16's, coz of their whizzy electronics.
  23. Well I must have flown it a hundred times, but THIS time one of them actually 
  24. turned around and went back to SFO!! How often have people seen this happen?
  25. The mission wasn't unusual in any other way... all I did was match speed and
  26. fire some nose-gun rounds past his ears. The F-16 then suddenly flipped over
  27. and headed 090. I got the return to carrier message, and did. He went and
  28. circled the bay for a while and then headed west again... so I re-launched
  29. and shot him to pieces. FA/18 is one of the most playable flightsims to have
  30. been written, IMHO.
