- I took me a fair while to finish all 6 too, but I stll enjoy flying the FA/18
- regularly -- you can still be suprised...
-
- I was doing the intercept stolen aircraft mission -- you know, the one where
- the briefing says to avoid killing the F-16's, coz of their whizzy electronics.
- Well I must have flown it a hundred times, but THIS time one of them actually
- turned around and went back to SFO!! How often have people seen this happen?
- The mission wasn't unusual in any other way... all I did was match speed and
- fire some nose-gun rounds past his ears. The F-16 then suddenly flipped over
- and headed 090. I got the return to carrier message, and did. He went and
- circled the bay for a while and then headed west again... so I re-launched
- and shot him to pieces. FA/18 is one of the most playable flightsims to have
- been written, IMHO.
