- Well, the only help I can give might be totally useless. Long ago I remember
- having a similar problem with a Cutting Edge drive when trying to connect to
- an Amiga 1000. The following mod to the AMAX cartridge fixed the problem:

- On the cartridge is an 74LS139 chip. Cut the trace between pins 1&3 and
- add a jumper between pins 13&15.

- This might or might not fix your problem and for all I know the cartridges
- have changed since this mod was necessary (mine is circa 89).
