  35. Makeab should create a file that is not called ABoot.ctrl. I mean it
  36. could be called that but it shouldn't be. Since that big file is nothing
  37. but a big Amiga file you can change the name with the rename command
  38. I would recommend calling it something like DRIVE_C or some such name.

  40. Now in your sys:pc/system drawer you should create a file called. Aboot.ctrl
  41. The only thing in this file should be a line that points to your makeab
  42. file. So if you had it on Work: the aboot.ctrl file would look like this:

  46. Make sure that the file just contains one line and that the line
  47. ends with a linefeed. Then when you reboot, you should be able to 
  48. install DOS 5.0 the normal way. If you have an earlier version of 
  49. DOS then you have to FDISK and FORMAT your "Drive" be advised that
  50. you can only have a virtual hard drive of a maximum size of 32 MB
  51. regardless of the version of DOS that you are using.
