  14. Right now.  I had an existing AMax partition on my HD, and Emplant boots
  15. from and operates with it with no problems so far.

  20. Video drivers for Emplant are about to get a dramatic improvement.  Jim
  21. Drew now has an MMU based routine that updates much faster than the old
  22. routines, and with less CPU overhead.  Only the 2 and 4 color modes are
  23. finished right now, but he will provide a 16 color version after
  24. Christmas.  16 color is supposed to run 60 FPS, and be faster than the old
  25. 2-4 color modes.  It should be only slightly slower than the new 2-4 color
  26. modes.  The 1200 without an MMU won't benefit from this, and so I expect
  27. that the A3000 will produce a faster display than the 1200.  The A4000 of
  28. course has both advantages, and should produce an awesome display,
  29. possibly 256 colors at 60 FPS.
