- This is a problem I had as well, until I figured out that my modem setup
- enabled both v.32bis *and* v.42 on those high-speed connects. Be sure that
- you have v.42 disabled on these calls, and that the connection is pure
- v.32bis. My cps rate went from 575 to 1050 (as given by xstat) with v.42
- disabled.
