- I got AmigaNOS to work over a modem.
-
- 1. It is kind of slow.
- 2. The VT100 support is not very good.
- 3. You can telnet/FTP at the same time.
-
- FTPing a file with my SupraFax V.32bis modem is a lot slower then sending the
- file with, say Z-Modem.
-
- Get AmigaNOS29j and Akit from Wuarchive. I believe it is in the "incoming"
- directory. AmigaNos29i didn't work for me. If the program won't come up,
- put the workbench screen in >200 line mode (interlace, if applies)
-
- Akit has everyting set up for you. Just execute the script file from the
- "AmigaNOS/s" directory and away you are.
-
- Alt-T (I believe) will bring you back to the Session Manager so you can
- open another session. If it's not ALT-T, it's an Alt key close to the T key.
-
-
- If anyone knows where I can get the source for AmigaNOS29j, let me know where
- and what directory.
