  12. I've just acquired PerfectSound 3 and have some ideas in my head that I am
  13. finding out I can't do with the software.

  15. I have 2 files, different sizes.

  17. When I try to CREATE STEREO, one comes up either slowed down, or speeded up  
  18. (depending on which file I choose first in the creation).  Yes, I *think* I
  19. understand why this is happening... file size difference lengthens or shortens
  20. the waveform of the added file.  (I can't explain it, I just understand it)

  22. But, I haven't a clue how to lengthen the shorter file and position it so that
  23. it unisons the larger one without losing the original pitch of either file.  I
  24. wanted to try this for a practice piece, but there seems to be no capability 
  25. to cut/paste ranges in different channels on the same stereo piece.

  27. Is there software that does that?  Editing them as separate files would be 
  28. grossly time consuming and not as likely to be accurate.  And I have several
  29. ideas involving voice-overs on one channel overlaying music on the other and
  30. then combining them into monaural..
