- I've just acquired PerfectSound 3 and have some ideas in my head that I am
- finding out I can't do with the software.
-
- I have 2 files, different sizes.
-
- When I try to CREATE STEREO, one comes up either slowed down, or speeded up
- (depending on which file I choose first in the creation). Yes, I *think* I
- understand why this is happening... file size difference lengthens or shortens
- the waveform of the added file. (I can't explain it, I just understand it)
-
- But, I haven't a clue how to lengthen the shorter file and position it so that
- it unisons the larger one without losing the original pitch of either file. I
- wanted to try this for a practice piece, but there seems to be no capability
- to cut/paste ranges in different channels on the same stereo piece.
-
- Is there software that does that? Editing them as separate files would be
- grossly time consuming and not as likely to be accurate. And I have several
- ideas involving voice-overs on one channel overlaying music on the other and
- then combining them into monaural..
-
- No, not I'm not making mods.
-
- Suggestions?
-
- Thanks in advance!
