  12. My wife is trying to get her new GVP DSS 8 to work with VCLI.  We
  13. read  the  docs,  and  know  about having to set the sampler from
  14. within the DSS software.

  16. What happens is this: she starts up DSS, and makes sure the input
  17. is  set to MIC and that the gain is set to 8.  Then she exits DSS
  18. and starts up VCLI. Then she presses the COMMAND button,  selects
  19. the  NEW COMMAND menu, and enters the new command and presses the
  20. return key.   The  Learning  -  xxxxxxxx  window  comes  up,  and
  21. displays  a  message saying that it is ready to sample.  She then
  22. clicks on the sample button,  and  speaks  into  the  microphone.
  23. VCLI never responds.  The only way out seems to be rebooting.  Is
  24. there a way to tell VCLI to stop  sampling?   Is  there  anything
  25. that she is obviously doing wrong?  Thanks in advance.
