  32. Prolific, Inc  writes and sells Pro-Net and Pro-Board and their supporting
  33. programs.  Pro-Net is a schematic capture program and Pro-Board is the
  34. PCB layout and design program.  The programs are properly interconnected
  35. to work together an your project including the various production list,
  36. auto-routing, auto-placement, manual changes, back annotation, and various
  37. reports.  Most of my experience has been with manual board design on
  38. Pro-Board in designing a 2 by 4 inch audio-video relay board and a 7 by 10
  39. inch audio-video distribution amp board.  The programs are comparable in
  40. cost, style and power to similar programs on other platforms.  They work on
  41. common Amigas.  Prolific has increased its customer support and now maintains
  42. a vendor access area on the Portal telecom service in the US.  Portal is an
  43. Internet sight.
  44. I have seen mixed reviews on these programs, but they have performed adequately
  45. for me.  They have produced accurate gerber files, and the files have been used
  46. to make successful two-sided boards.  The programs are much more powerful than
  47. my needs.
