  13. about 4 months ago I began using Gnu Emacs v18.58 at work.  After 
  14. using it 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for 4 months I've come to
  15. realize that this is the one TRUE editor :^).  Well maybe not but
  16. emacs is pretty good.

  18. I used to use QED (which is a great editor) on my amiga but, being 
  19. a simpleton, I'm now finding it difficult switching between editors.
  20. I tried using MEmacs (it comes with WB2.0) but it just doesn't cut it -
  21. I need to be able to redefine all of the keys _including_ the default
  22. bindings...

  24. Anyways, I got ahold of a FAQ that lists a variety of different emacs
  25. implementations and what machines these implementations run on but
  26. I don't know which one to try.  I'm interested in hearing about what
  27. version of emacs your running on your amiga (and how your amiga is
  28. configured).

  30. my minimum requirements for an implementation of emacs:
