- I have on major complaint towards C=! PAULA should have been revised.
- I was sad when I did not see a SUPER PAULA when the A3000 was released,
- and again abit unhappy that its not in the A1200 or A4000. I have no
- idea if SUPER PAULA exists, but I heard some DSP board will be able to
- go in the CPU-slot on the A1200/4000..AGA machines..
-
- I know very little about DSP chips. But I would like to know something
- does anyone know what the updated sound quality will be in the future
- of the Amiga?
-
- Okay professionals want 16-bit sound, etc.. But for game makers more
- A/D channels would be great, even if they are 8-bit. Like 8 or 16 8-bit
- A/D channels could really improve on some stuff. Like games with a good
- tune in the background and nice sound f/x's!
-
- Is this DSP chip only going to have 2 16-bit A/D channels?? Now that
- would be good for some things, but still kind of lame. I like to
- see an extension to the PAULA chip.
-
- You know what makes the AMIGA, its chipsets! If it did not have those, I
- would have never bought the Amiga. So C= the AMIGA CHIPSET TECHNOLOGY,
- and MARKETING the Amiga should be a vital concern. Not only that try to
- establish the Amiga in some educational institutes. Like its a drag not
- to find any decent places to learn how to program the Amiga. Except through
- modeming or user groups. On the IBM/or even MAC its much easier. Hence
- more software developers..etc
-
- I guess I better end here, later all!
