- Ideally, that would be true. However, once they cancel
- your warranty, they more willing to listen to their computer/
- file/whatnot than to you.

- In my case, they canceled mine when I called in for Gold
- Service and tried to explain how I found the problem. I
- called back later and despite someone else at Gold Service
- (a phone answerer) who assured me that I did nothing to cancel
- my warranty, the engineer wouldn't even talk to me. A letter
- I sent went unanswered, and I finally went to a sympathetic
- dealer (KJ Computers in Granada Hills, LA, really great people
- unlike the pinheads at Creative) to get everything fixed.

- My advice to everyone now is to lie through your teeth when
- talking to Gold Service and find a nice dealer and patronize
- them a lot.
