- Since when did denouncing something mean one is pretending to be
- an expert?

- Ha ha ha ha ha! What has happened is that they think like YOU, and
- the industry HAS stagnated! Ha ha ha ha ha! What a funny thing to
- say.

- Where are you deriving this idea that Windows is what is making
- CBM evolve its system software? Did Marc Barrett tell you this?

- That was "whose applications all have a consistent UI". A somewhat
- different meaning.
-

- > "That's not a worthwhile PC OS."
-
- Look over what you've quoted again. It is _I_ asking for facts to
- be introduced, instead of the vague delirium going on before. And
- it is _you_, in your opinionated disagreement with that last
- sentence, who is pushing both opinions and outright lies.
-
- Do you categorically deny that Windows is built on top of DOS? Do
- you deny that DOS is not a worthwhile PC _OS_? Are you saying that
- the folks at IBM, backing OS/2, who say that DOS is ineffective
- for this day and age, are incorrect? Do you deny that anyone had
- their hard disks wiped out by Windows 2.x? Are you saying you
- don't need DOS installed on your PC to run Windows? Do you think
- that Microsoft themselves, who are going to move away from Windows
- to Windows NT, are wrong in their view that Windows is no longer
- worthwhile?
-
- Shucks, even IBM, the people who started the whole PC shebang,
- developed their OS/2 because they don't think Windows is a
- worthwhile PC OS.
