- Yes, I've seen, and studied a number of PC viruses. (I believe a
- virus resistant computer system is practical, even for a single
- user computer). The interesting thing is that OS/2 supports
- direct hardware access from applications, as part of its design.
- The typical PC virus would not be that hard to implement under
- OS/2. It would require a bit of reading and understanding the
- published OS/2 docs on the part of the virus writer, but that's
- about it. A more complex OS gives more places for viruses to hide,
- not less.

- and programs can be correspondingly more sophisticated and easier
- to use on OS/2. It all balances out.
