  11. The concept of a GUI and its initial design was not a "Mac" thing,
  12. not an "Amiga" thing, and certainly not an "IBM" thing. The concept
  13. came from Xerox, and so did some initial implementation. This was
  14. developed by Xerox at their advanced research center.

  16. You may ask how I came about this information. It is simple. I work in the
  17. building that used to be their 'advanced research center'. They have since
  18. gone...
