- That's how interlace is, get used to it. You should be, you see it on

- Eek. Get rid of it.

- You consider THAT advanced? Eek. Under 2.0, when you resize, it
- keeps track of what is displayable and redraws what was IN the shell.

- Agreed. Change it.

- So, are you using 640x200? I hope not--I always believed that it was
- better to put up with interlace than to suffer with 640x200 WB's, even
- with 1.3. Careful selection of colors lowers the screen's contrast,
- and reduces flickering. If you really want to do yourself a favor,
- though, buy 2.0. ;) (Yeah, I know, I know, it's not yours... ;)

-
- Well, if it's a SHELL, you just type endcli/endshell. If not, you're
- stuck--there are a lot of really old programs that used to open up
- console windows, which look like shells but aren't (the shell program
- actually opens up a console window, and take care of closing it
- themselves)... I'm not sure what the problem IS though.

-
- Unsupported. It never has been. The system will not allow you to
- move a window out of the range of the screen. I thought I'd miss it
- at first, but I really didn't.

-
- Hmm? I'm not familiar with Deluxe Paint II. Besides the fact that
- it's two versions too old... ;) Toggling from the program to the WB
- should be as easy as hitting the gadget in the upper-right corner.
- The one that looks like a rectangle overlaid on top of another
- rectangle? (at least, that's what it looks like under 2.0x ->, I've
- forgotten all about 1.3)

- Preferences. Look for your Prefs drawer.

-
- Not likely. It can't be done, to the best of my knowledge. Unless
- you're rather proficient at writing code, and then perhaps you could
- hack something together on the PC side to take input from the serial
- line and route it to your modem, and vice versa...
-
- Then it would work.
-
- But that's real unlikely.
