  21.    I made a stupid statement once to the effect that I would not cry if Irving
  22. Gould suddenly died.  And I wasn't the only one who has ever said this; I
  23. was merely the first.  Many other people have made similar statements over
  24. the past few years.  Of course my statements are the only ones that ever get
  25. noticed.
