- Yes, now that large harddrives bursting with fantastic software are common
- on any modern PC, having different floppy drive sizes is merely a
- convenience. Booting from, or using floppies is only done to install
- new OSes or 'fixing' HD problems. Long gone are the days that PC relied
- on floppy drives to operate, verily: in those days of old, they too
- had two same-size floppy drives.
