  16.     What do you mean by "really crucial"? If you flake out your OS/2
  17.     CONFIG.SYS file, in my experience you can no longer boot the
  18.     system. Then you have to make up a boot disk...

  20.     People in OS/2 echoes in Fidonet (admittedly very few people) have
  21.     reported wiping out their HDs in one way or another, having to
  22.     re-install to recover.
