- Well, I called Sierra personally to check this out. When I asked them if
- they had dropped Amiga support, they said no, they have suspended furthur
- development of new Amiga products. I asked, what does suspended actually
- mean. They said that they were not developing for the Amiga currently and
- they were not sure what would happen in the future.
-
- My speculation is that they are waiting to see how the new AGA machines
- sell. These machines would make it much easier to port IBM versions and
- have the speed required to make their lousy ports playable.
-
- Note that I could be wrong here. Sierra lost a lot of money lately and
- they have to cut somewhere. I suppose, given the quality of the ports and
- the size of the U.S. Amiga market, that cutting the Amiga versions is as
- good a place as any to cut back.
