- You're quite wrong about that. The Windows solutions are extremely well
- integrated, and have excellent keyboard, menu, and panel access to the
- screens which they manage.

- : I disagree. It's more than just a "speed optimization". It's a
- : direct result of having a copperlist, one. Second, it's more than
- : "the only advantage" over the window method, due to the OS itself. As

- :

- The window opens in the current screen, and then you can move it to a
- different one. Unfortunately, your usage of the verb "shanghai" eludes me,
- so I can't answer the rest of your questions.
-
- :

- : in the end, not even the Mac or IBM systems has enough resolution for
- : doing everything on one screen. Otherwise, you wouldn't be
- : iconifying/hiding windows under OS/2 / Sys7.1 / Windows.
- :
-
- If you're talking about extending real estate, it's still a half-baked,
- if fast, solution, as screens are limited by Chip RAM. Put a high-color paint
- program on a screen, and there goes half your Chip RAM. I know, I know,
- "Why would you need more than that?"
