- I had proposed on the net that the CDTV be stripped down to a cartridged
- base machine with the CD unit as an add-on. The user could expand it to
- a full fledged CDTV machine if they desired. Making it as nice looking as
- CDTV would put NES to shame considering how cheesy they look, and would
- encourage people to display it along side their stereo/tv systems instead
- of hiding it in the closet. With the "Commodore" name constantly visible
- on the front, you get the extra added effect of subliminal advertising,
- making Commodore a name to reckon with along with Sony or RCA in
- home electronics.

- see".
