  12. CALL FOR GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTS WITH KHOROS EXPERTISE

  15. Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking two people
  16. to fill graduate research assistant (GRA) positions.  This
  17. is not an offer of employment, this is only an announcement
  18. seeking names of qualified and interested people.
  19.  
  20. There are two different groups at LANL that wish to hire a
  21. GRA to support their efforts in developing Khoros related
  22. software.  A GRA is a part-time or full-time employee of
  23. LANL that is given time to pursue graduate studies.
  24.  
  25. LANL specifically desires expertise in the following Khoros
  26. related areas:
  27.     *    Distributed Computing
  28.     *    Databases
  29.     *    Visualization
  30.     *    Image Processing
  31. The candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen and the candidate MUST
  32. have software engineering experience.  The positions are
  33. open to students seeking either a Master's degree or a Doc-
  34. toral degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  35. The candidate SHOULD have experience with Khoros, X windows,
  36. C and UNIX systems programming.
