- I have been thinking :-( about the database issue that has surfaced
- periodically. The basic question being how can khoros help with
- the problem of data/results organization.
-
- I am probably going to try using the K2 formats (ie data services)
- to store data and processing results. I believe that will be a very
- rich palette.
-
- I'd like to throw out the idea of a utility to tap the comment fields
- of all the data files in a directory or registered with the browser.
- It could tap the full header. The information could displayed,
- held (a catalogue), or processed (ala awk/perl).
-
- This (purposely...honest) is an ill formed idea. I want to see
- if we can put it into a useful form. I think this might be a useful
- tool that should be easy to implement.
-
- Ok, it's not really a database, but given viffs within viffs, it could be.
- It's more of an organizational tool. (God help those EOS guys!! :-)
