  13. I am looking for a solution to provide a backup NFS server that is located
  14. away from the primary server.  This precludes the use of disk sharing across
  15. CPU's or disk-mirroring.

  17. I have implimented a solution that involves periodical copying of updated
  18. file systems from the primary to the backup system.  The problem is trying
  19. to achieve up-to-the-moment concurrency between the primary and backup.
  20.  
  21. I am considering modifying a version of NFSD or BIOD that would either forward
  22. all file updates to the replicate server or send the update to more than one
  23. server from the client.

  25. There seems to be very little on this subject available.  Anyone have any
  26. ideas?
