  34. It's worth noting that XOM is being 'standardized' by the IEEE (P1224).
  35. P1224 is 'strongly' based upon XOM. I haven't catalogued the differences
  36. and don't know if anyone has (P1224 is not completely out of the draft 
  37. phase yet). I think an XMP equivalent is undergoing the same treatment.

  40. implemented that API. The experience was not pleasant!
