- You can obtain these documents from X/Open in the UK:
-
- X/Open Company Limited
- Apex Plaza
- Forbury Road
- Reading
- Berkshire RG1 1AX
- UK
-
- or email to:
-
- XoSpecs@xopen.co.uk

-
- It's worth noting that XOM is being 'standardized' by the IEEE (P1224).
- P1224 is 'strongly' based upon XOM. I haven't catalogued the differences
- and don't know if anyone has (P1224 is not completely out of the draft
- phase yet). I think an XMP equivalent is undergoing the same treatment.
-
- If you have any queries on XOM, don't hesitate to email me, as I've
- implemented that API. The experience was not pleasant!
