- Are you familiar with the November release of the OS/2 PDK, or NFS?
- If you got any idea why my mounts typically take 4 minutes to
- mount, please drop me a line.
-
- I have the nfs delivered with the CD .... no CSD's applied. My NFSD
- is running on a 386DX 40mhz with 20meg ram. Nothing except for the
- PM is running.
-
- I have also had trouble mounting a CD rom drive. I pretty sure I'm not
- doing anything wrong or have the wrong drivers, config.sys, etc. because
- sometimes it mounts and sometimes it does not. Here is what I get when
- nfsd tries to parse the exports file......

- Also, are the RPC "programming tools" available in the PDK? I have
- noted in the TCP/IP programmers manual they mention the rpcdll.lib
- and I can't find it. Is it in the NTS/2 (Network Transport) install?
- I hesitate to dump it to disk (I'm getting so lazy...btw why can't all
- the CD software be installed from CD or diskettes?) because I don't know
- how many (or how long) this will take. I did click on the info button
- but it didN'T (oops) tell me anything exciting.
-
- Thanks for listening.
