- I have a two SCSI disk system. Disk 0 has boot manager and OS/2. Disk
- 1 has a (formerly) bootable UNIX system installed in a primary partition.
- I installed the UNIX partition in the boot manager menu but when I attempt
- to boot off it, I get an error: "boot: no active partition on disk".
-
- Now, FDISK recognizes the partition on the second disk as bootable and a
- primary partition but doesn't assign a drive letter because of the file
- system type (UFS).
-
- Is there a way to get boot manager to boot off the second disk/partition
- without having to reinstall my entire system on a single disk?
-
- Hoping you can help...
- Justin
