  13. Just curious:  I called IBM to try to get the Beta, and they said
  14. it didnt exist, and started asking me lots of questions like
  15. "Who said it was out, etc..."

  17. I had to dump the original beta I got (2.01 or something) that had the
  18. 32bit GRE, and 32Bit hpfs, because the SIO drivers totally messed it up,
  19. and the win3.1 unit didnt run alot of the stuff that winos2 (under GA 2.0)
  20. ran, even when I put in the settings to run them as 3.0 programs.

  22. Secondly, the beta with the 32bit stuff (remember this is that beta you 
  23. could order from IBM that was out a couple of months after GA), was
  24. SLOWER than the GA.  Wierd.
