  27. However, it is nice to get the drivers in case you may need to operate your
  28. equipment under a different operating system (ie. DOS, Unix, etc.).  I find
  29. having them is helpful so that I can fire up my tape drive under DOS to 
  30. back everything up using gnutar and other such programs .... your mileage
  31. may vary.
