- Not that I know anything for sure (so flame and correct me if I'm wrong)
- but it seems stupid that INMOS actually did the bus-mastering or the
- microchannel interfacing part of the board. I would guess (knowing
- INMOS's other lines -- the transputer and the G3000) that INMOS only
- made the graphics part of the whole deal. I would guess that IBM and
- Radius are adding the required interface hardware for Microchannel and
- ISA bus-mastering. Although from a mail message from someone else
- here on the net, IBM hired INMOS to do the work for the graphics
- chip. Evidently a lot of the info was printed in some issues of EE-Times.
- I am going to check out the library for old EE-Times issues to see
- what they have...
