- Hello everyone,
-
- Well the title says it all. I am looking for IBM's Montreal BBS phone no.
-
- Also, I'm in the process of buying a new serial chip. I hear that with
- high speed telecommunications (14.4kbps), it would be wise to get a
- buffered chip. I've seen mentions of different chip version no., what
- is the one I should get? (I think it's 16550AFN but I'm not certain).
- Also, does OS/2 automatically know it's dealing with this chip or
- do I need some special driver or something? Will Telix (running in a
- DOS box) make use of the 16 byte buffer too?
-
- Thanks,
-
- Eric
